Location: Hybrid – Bothell, WASchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PMHybrid Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday in office; remaining days remotePay: $33.65–$40.86/hour ($70,000–$85,000 annually)Job Type: Full-TimeStart Date: ASAPAbout The RoleWe are seeking a Data Operations Technician to join our team and play an important role in keeping data accurate, organized, and flowing smoothly across our operations.This is a fast-paced, high-volume data operations position where priorities can change quickly. You may be working on multiple tickets at once when a new, higher-priority request comes in. The ideal candidate knows how to multitask, quickly pivot, stay organized, and maintain a high level of accuracy even when the workload changes throughout the day.This role is also client-facing, so professional communication, accountability, and attention to detail are critical.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Data Operations, Data Analytics, Data Analysis, or a related field who wants to continue developing their skills and eventually expand into broader Data Management responsibilities.What You'll DoProcess, validate, and maintain incoming and outgoing data filesUse SQL/SQL Server to write queries, extract data, and analyze informationUse Microsoft Excel to organize, review, analyze, and reconcile dataCreate and work with Excel formulas and PivotTablesReview data for accuracy, completeness, duplicates, and discrepanciesInvestigate data issues and determine appropriate solutionsManage a high volume of tickets, emails, and requests while meeting established deadlinesMonitor multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work based on urgency and SLA requirementsCommunicate with clients and internal teams regarding data and operational issuesDocument issues, processes, and corrective actionsAssist with reporting and data-related workflowsSupport new data feeds, system changes, testing, and process improvementsMaintain confidentiality and follow data security and compliance proceduresContribute to the continued development of data operations and broader data management processesRequiredWhat We're Looking For2+ years of experience in Data Operations, Data Analytics, Data Processing, or a closely related fieldStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, sorting/filtering, and data analysisStrong SQL/SQL Server experience with the ability to write queries, extract data, and analyze resultsExceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage a high volume of emails, tickets, and competing prioritiesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to adapt and pivot quickly when priorities changeAbility to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environmentHigh degree of professionalism and accountabilityComfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing environmentPreferredExperience with Tableau or other reporting/data visualization toolsExperience with data reconciliation, data quality, or data integrityExperience supporting data feeds or file transfersExperience in financial, legal, healthcare, or another highly regulated industryAssociate degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or a related fieldEquivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.Why Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to build on your existing data operations and analytics skills while developing toward broader data management responsibilities.If you enjoy working with data, solving problems, using SQL and Excel, and staying organized in a fast-moving environment, this could be a great opportunity to grow your career.The Ideal Candidate IsDetail-oriented.
