Mystique - Restaurant Manager

As a Restaurant Manager, a typical day might include the following:Managing operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanlinessPreparing service staff schedules in accordance with forecasted business volume. Responsible to alter scheduling needs with the varying daily business volumeIdentifying operational opportunities to build sales and control costs; develop and implement plans to address opportunitiesExhibiting high performance standards and ensures all team members are providing exceptional service to patronsPerforming nightly check outs and auditsInvestigating and resolving service/food quality complaintsSupervising associates daily activities; assigning responsibilities and providing clear / concise instructions while offering suggestions for increased productivityEnforcing established safety practices and ensures quality standards are maintainedAccountable for all sales and operating transactions in compliance with the policies and proceduresProviding a positive, fun working environment for associatesOther duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervising approximately 30-60 front-of-house employees per shiftCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsInterviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:Minimum of 2 years' management experience in a full service food and beverage, high volume upscale and/or club environment requiredMust be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background checkMust have the ability to complete the process for the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission service employee registration prior to startingTIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification requiredHigh School Diploma required.
