JOB TITLE: Epic Ambulatory Analyst**TOP 3 SKILLS:**LOCATION: Fully Remote, Any US State working 40 hours per week M-F. Core meeting hours are 9am-3pm PST.DURATION: 3 month contract, high chance of extensionRATE RANGE: pay rate range $60-90/hr, price competitivelyPOSITION SUMMARY:Job will start out primarily doing Epic maintenance work, some ticket support, enhancement and optimization work. Could eventually do build work down the line.RESPONSIBILITIES:Application Configuration & SupportUnderstand and maintain application configuration, build, and database structure, assuring database integrity for all assigned systemsCollaborate with end users, clinical staff, and operational stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into Epic system solutionsDesign, build, test, and implement EpicCare Ambulatory workflows, templates, and system enhancements in alignment with organizational goalsRespond to incidents and service requests through the ITSM platform, performing root-cause analysis and executing resolution for application-specific issuesServe as Tier-2 on-call support for Epic Ambulatory applications during off-hours as requiredManage Epic upgrades, patch deployments, and new feature activations through integrated testing cyclesParticipate in and lead integrated testing events, writing and executing test scripts and documenting resultsWorkflow Analysis & OptimizationAnalyze current-state clinical and operational workflows; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for EHR-driven improvementRepresent the integration implications of ambulatory functions across the full electronic health record ecosystemPartner with clinical informatics, quality, and operations teams to drive evidence-based workflow standardizationSupport AI and advanced Epic feature activations, including ambient documentation and predictive scheduling toolsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSExperienceMinimum 5 years of direct Epic Ambulatory configuration, build, and support experience requiredExperience supporting full Epic implementation lifecycle preferred (design through optimization)Healthcare clinical or operational experience in an outpatient/ambulatory setting is strongly preferredCertificationsCurrent Epic certification in Epic Ambulatory requiredAdditional Epic certifications in Cadence/Prelude, MyChart, Orders, Healthy Planet, or related modules are highly valuedBENEFITS SUMMARY: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
