Our reputation is built on quality, personalized service, and attention to detail.The millwork estimator will be responsible for generating accurate and timely bids for millwork projects by reviewing drawings and takeoffs. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a strong organization that recognizes employees for their achievements.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze specifications and project plans to determine cost, quantity of materials, labor, and overhead required.Create detailed proposals for the finishing woodwork of our construction projects,Review architectural drawings and blueprints, and compile project specifications.Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure your clients get the best prices.Perform accurate takeoffs and organize quotes in a clear, concise fashionInteract with vendors, suppliers, drafters, installers and shop personnel in preparation of bids.Liaise between customers, vendors and the sales teamUtilize software to assist in the estimation process.Provide detailed project schedules with critical milestones.Essential Qualifications:Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.Proficient skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced skills using ExcelAbility to delegate and monitor work assignments and sets expectations.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Professional oral and written communication skills.Ability and willingness to make timely decisions while exhibiting sound judgment.Excellent customer service skillsOur company is an equal opportunity employer with a drug-free workplace.
