This role involves direct patient care, emotional support, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and compassionate treatment.What you will do:Conduct mental health assessments and monitor psychiatric symptoms in elderly patients.Work closely with all physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapist to develop and implement individualized care plans.Minimum Qualifications Required:Graduation from an accredited nursing schoolValid RN License in ConnecticutPreferred:Bachelor's degree in NursingThe ideal candidate will have one or more years of Psychiatric or Geriatric experience in an acute inpatient setting.BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)Position Highlights:Per Diem-Rotating ScheduleMinistry/Facility InformationJohnson Memorial Hospital and Home & Community Health Services provide a continuum of health care services to those living and working in north central Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
