Traveling Site Manager

Job Title: Traveling Site ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Traveling Site Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and completing various projects and programs. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. You will prepare reports for upper management and ensure that all projects are completed efficiently.Responsibilities+ Coordinate and complete projects and programs, overseeing all aspects.+ Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.+ Prepare reports for upper management regarding project/program status.+ Deploy Automation projects, network optimization projects, and process engineering initiatives.+ Work on bottoms-up requests from operational leaders.+ Lead and direct the work of others.+ Hold vendors accountable and manage third-party vendor communication.+ Identify gaps in standards and ensure proper installation of automation and MHE equipment.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an adjacent technical bachelors degree+ Experience in project/program management or related field.+ PMP certification is preferred+ Familiarity with project management, vendor management, and program management.+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.+ Experience working in operational warehouses and collaborating with other teams.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflicts.+ Ability to hold vendors accountable.+ Quick learner with the capability to identify gaps in standards.Work EnvironmentThis position requires 100% travel to work site locations, leaving home on Monday and returning on Friday. You will work closely with a regional team to complete multiple automation installation projects. The role involves heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and communication.
