We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America.The Position AGCEA has an excellent opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist professional. Persons in this role are responsible for the packaging, shipping, and receiving (i.e. warehousing and inventory) of all company-related parts, tools, and materials as related to the company products. Team Members are required to stage, prepare, and package high-value parts and product for both domestic and international shipping/delivery. Shipping & Receiving Specialists regularly utilize multiple computer programs/platforms to update/process outgoing order documentation and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders. The Shipping & Receiving Team performs weekly inventory cycle counts and is responsible for the investigation of physical/system quantity discrepancies.Qualified candidates will have:
minimum 2 years shipping & receiving experienceworking knowledge of carrier platforms and digital tracking systemsprior experience handling and packaging fragile product for deliveryprior experience receiving and verifying incoming productprior experience performing physical cycle countsworking knowledge of MS Excel and MS Officestrong attention to detailIdeal candidates will have:
working knowledge of international shipping requirementsprior experience packaging fragile, large-scale shipmentsa forklift certificationworking knowledge of ERP systemsworking knowledge of safety data sheets and hazardous (SDS/GHS) chemical labelingPhysical requirements:
ability to lift and carry, push and pull product up to 55 lbs. as well as bend, stretch, kneel, twist, crouch and stand for long periods of timeability to work in a manufacturing environment, including (but is not limited to) exposure to noise, dust, abrasives, heat, cold, adhesives, chemicals, magnets and automated/manual machineryability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel or composite toe safety shoes, and designated PPE gloves as requiredOUR PAY and BENEFITSThe selected candidate will be eligible for an hourly rate between $20.50 to $25.50 per hour, depending upon experience.
