Day Program Coordinator
At Oaks of Hebron we daily get to work with people who are one of the most vulnerable in our society with realizing their dream of living independently and interacting with their community. Oaks of Hebron services assist many people with developmental disabilities to be able to live, work and be in their community. We are currently looking for a Program Coordiantor for our adult day program, which is a working produce farm.
About the Role
Oaks of Hebron is seeking a Day Program Coordinator to lead a unique, farm-based daytime activity program serving adults with developmental disabilities. While the program includes community-based activities, a significant portion of each day is spent outdoors on a working farm.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being outside in all types of weather, values hands-on learning environments, and is passionate about person-centered services. The Coordinator oversees daily program operations, supervises staff, and ensures participants experience meaningful, engaging, and supportive activities. This program is growing and the ideal candidate will need to be able to support this growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of a farm-based day program serving approximately 20 participants
Supervise, support, and schedule approximately 6 staff members
Ensure services are person-centered, engaging, and respectful
Coordinate farm activities, outdoor programming, and community outings
Monitor participant safety, well-being, and engagement in outdoor and community settings
Ensure compliance with program requirements and organizational policies
Complete required documentation and reports
Transport participants using company vehicles as needed
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Clear criminal background check
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to be insured under the company auto insurance policy
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or in a related human services setting
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related field
Prior supervisory or program coordination experience
