Senior Accountant /Internal ReportingLocation: Center City Philadelphia (Hybrid: Tues–Thurs onsite)A well-established organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, analysis, and audit activities within a collaborative and high-performing finance team. This role is open due to internal mobility and offers strong visibility, stability, and long-term growth potential. Benefits are top notch, including over 45 days off!This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming out of public accounting or a CPA looking to transition into a corporate accounting/internal reporting role.Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Support audit processes, including preparation of schedules, footnotes, and supporting documentation Perform account analysis and review balance sheet and income statement activity Analyze expense trends and support budgeting/forecasting processes Assist with investment and partnership reporting activities Prepare materials and reporting packages for senior leadership and board-level presentations Review and document accounting policies, procedures, and new accounting guidance Support cash and treasury-related activities, including reconciliations and reporting Contribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controls Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA required or near completion 3–5 years of experience with a combination of public accounting and corporate experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/general ledger systems Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with leadership Additional DetailsExcellent benefits packageCompensation: to $100kThe specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
