Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to assist in a variety of legal matters, including research, drafting legal documents, and negotiating on behalf of clients. This role primarily focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on property and business litigation. The position includes full benefits, with employer-paid health, vision, and dental insurance or a cash-in-lieu option.DutiesConduct legal research related to property and business lawDraft discovery requests and responses, pleadings, and motionsNegotiate settlements and agreements with opposing counsel or partiesAssist in representing clients in court proceedingsCollaborate with senior attorneys on complex mattersStay current on changes in relevant laws and litigation procedures (including Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code)Manage case files and maintain accurate recordsBill approximately 7 hours per dayQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing, or pending admission for new graduates/Texas Bar applicantsLitigation experience preferredStrong legal research and writing skillsEffective negotiation skills and clear, persuasive communication abilitiesThis position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of business and property litigation matters within a collaborative and supportive environment.
