School-Based Physical Therapist - Waukegan, Illinois

A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school settings to support students from early childhood through 12th grade. This role focuses on providing therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program at a school in Waukegan, IL.Position Details:Location: Waukegan, IllinoisContract Duration: June 15, 2026 - July 26, 2026Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM (First and last days end at 3:15 PM)Setting: In-person services onlyMultiple positions availableWork specifically with students requiring special education services (SEDOL)Note: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist (PT); Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) are not eligibleQualifications:Valid Illinois Physical Therapist license (license verification is required)Experience providing PT services in school environments preferredAbility to deliver therapy services to students ranging from early childhood through 12th gradeStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staffResponsibilities:Deliver physical therapy interventions to support students' mobility, strength, and functional skillsCollaborate with the educational team to integrate therapy goals into the school environmentMaintain timely and accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirementsParticipate actively in ESY program goals and schedulesThis role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your PT expertise in a school-based setting during the summer ESY program.
