Details for the position are as follows:Job Description:Pay: $82.49/hr on W2Shift: 100% OnsiteDuration: 12-months to start – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.Overview:The Test & Evaluation organization has an exciting opening for a Flight Test Conductor for T-7A program located at Edwards AFB, CA. The Test Conductor will lead flight test program planning and execution, which will include many aspects of flight sciences and mission systems.Supports the development and verification of test methodsDevelops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test planPerforms detailed planning and execution of aircraft ground and flight testReviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customerPrepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirementsPresents test results internallyArchives data and reportsTrains/Guides junior test conductors with their career development in flight testQualifications:Must have an active clearance.Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry required .5+ years of experience with the principles of flight test OR experience directly supporting flight test operations required .5+ years of experience in planning and conducting system level lab, ground, or flight testing required .100+ hours of control room experience as a Test Conductor required .5+ years of experience performing tactical aircraft flight testing (planning and/or executing) preferred .5+ years of experience directly interfacing with customers and senior program leadership preferred .5+ years of experience developing detailed test points from system level specification requirements, test planning, execution and reporting test results preferredBy applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
