DescriptionThe Leidos Defense Sector is seeking a Quality Lead to support an upcoming program. This is a remote position, with preference for candidates located near Beavercreek, Ohio.Note: This role is contingent upon contract award, expected in late May or early June.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead and enforce quality processes across the program to ensure consistency and compliance.Develop solutions to complex technical challenges that impact multiple functional area.Collaborate closely with internal cross functional teams and interface with customer stakeholders as needed.Partner with Configuration Management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of CDRL records.Review program level metrics for accuracy, traceability, and mission assurance reporting requirements.Plan, coordinate, and manage internal, external, and third party audits, including AS9100 compliance.Develop, implement, and maintain the program Quality Plan.Review and approve peer reviews and procurement requisitions.Verify and validate data requirements supporting Program Management activities.Interpret engineering drawings and technical data packages to ensure compliance.Manage nonconformances and lead root cause corrective action activities.Serve as a key interface with Government and Program Management customers to ensure product compliance at delivery.Ensure completion and accuracy of all CDRL data requirements.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Program Manager.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.U.S. Citizenship required; Currently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.Proven experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 standards and requirements.Proven ability to solve complex problems, collaborate effectively, and communicate across all levels of an organization.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Experience completing inspection reports, both handwritten and computer generated.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word.Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 10%).Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Government contracts, including interpretation of PWS and SOW requirements.Experience managing or supporting CDRL deliveries.Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations.Previous auditing experience.PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.Commitment to Non-DiscriminationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, ethnicity, age, national origin, citizenship, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, family structure, marital status, ancestry, domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
