Pre Production Operator Crew C 6PM--6AM

Position OverviewThe position will work five days a week on-site in Somerset, NJ.The Pre-Production Operator is responsible for preparing, producing, and staging materials and work orders prior to production.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and stage raw materials and components for upcoming production jobsReview work orders and job travelers for accuracyVerify material type, thickness, and quantities match job specificationsDeliver and organize materials at designated workstations or pre-production areasLoading and unloading materials onto equipment as requiredMaintain organization and cleanliness of staging and work areas in accordance with 5S standardsCommunicate material shortages, discrepancies, or job readiness issues to supervisorsSupport production by ensuring jobs are prepared and available when scheduledFollow all company safety policies and operating proceduresQualificationsOther Important Responsibilities:Previous manufacturing or production experience preferredAbility to follow work instructions and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentBasic computer or scanner experience is a plusPhysical Requirements And Work EnvironmentAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shiftAbility to lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistancePerform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, twisting, and graspingSafely handle and move production materials and equipmentMaintain focus and attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment, moving machinery, and moderate to high noise levels.
