Data and Systems Engineer

Overview In this role, you will maintain reliable data intake, access, and operational procedures for a document-analysis platform used by regulatory analysts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, secure access, and robust data pipelines in a remote setting. You will monitor system health, guard data quality, and document incidents and resolutions to support regulatory workflows. ResponsibilitiesOperate data imports/exports, validate schemas and reconcile countsPreserve original files, metadata, versions, and links between comments and outputsManage user accounts, roles, and access reviews; maintain onboarding/offboarding recordsMonitor data pipelines, jobs, error queues, storage, and application health; manage SLOsSearch index construction and performance optimizationMaintain backup and disaster recovery procedures; verify restoration; document incidentsSupport configuration changes, release verification, and data-quality checks in test/productionPrepare usable data exports and support data retention and transfer proceduresMaintain runbooks, logs, and access records; protect confidential informationSupport FDMS and publication workflows without bypassing regulatory review Key requirementsThree (3) years related experienceBachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience (Four (4) years)Strong documentation skillsExcellent communication with nontechnical analystsDetail-oriented and proactive problem solvingHands-on experience administering cloud-hosted applicationsSQL or comparable queryingETL pipelines and structured file formats
