It is the reason we will succeed together.Job SummaryThe SC Billing Coordinator is responsible for collecting and maintaining records of all Service Coordination services provided. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively and meeting established timelines. Responsibilities include verifying consents, reviewing invoices, entering and sending case information and tracking claims in database.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRecord and send case information to relevant staff.Review and verify service coordination notes accurately.Researching and resolving issues with cases.Assist in filing of SC related documents.Ensure all SC notes are posted and billed.Assist during department audit and special projects as neededOther duties as assigned by the Manager.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree preferred Prior billing experience preferredStrong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel is requiredA team player who is detail oriented and goal drivenTraining period for 2 weeksPhysical Requirements Of The RoleOccasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the workday working on a computer/electronic device.The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
