Job Summary
We are looking for a BC/BE advanced endoscopist/gastroenterologist to join our team.
Location
Our team provides outpatient procedural and clinic services in St. Paul, Woodbury, Anoka, and Western Wisconsin. Physicians are assigned a primary site and assist with coverage at secondary sites intermittently.
Coverage
Our team also provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Clinicians will cover the advanced endoscopy service every fourth week, as well as one weekend per month of call coverage.
Key Details
Full‑Time 1.0 FTE: 4.5 working days per week
Participate in the inpatient general gastroenterology service (3‑4 weeks per year), supported by medical students, residents, University of Minnesota GI Fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers.
Complete screening and diagnostic procedures primarily at our St. Paul, Woodbury, and Anoka sites.
Qualifications
BC/BE status as an endoscopist/gastroenterologist.
Experience with EUS/ERCP and advanced techniques such as BarrX, single balloon colonoscopy, Axios stenting, and/or EMR.
Responsibilities
Maintain key working relationships with patients, families, Gastroenterology team members, Administration, unit staff at Regions Hospital, and clinical staff at outpatient procedure centers.
Assist with coverage at secondary sites intermittently.
Participate in advanced endoscopy coverage and one weekend per month of call coverage.
Participate in inpatient general gastroenterology service 3‑4 weeks per year.
