They are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead the Georgia manufacturing facility and position the plant for continued success.This is a career-defining opportunity for a results-driven automotive manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll have full responsibility for plant performance, culture, and profitability — with the authority to make key decisions and implement best-in-class operational strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all plant operations for a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved.Develop and execute operational strategies that drive productivity, reduce scrap and downtime, and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements for major OEM and Tier 1 customers.Champion lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process capability and product quality.Drive a culture of accountability and performance, coaching and developing leadership teams to meet and exceed KPIs.Oversee quality assurance, maintenance, supply chain, and production planning to maintain seamless operations and on-time delivery.Partner closely with corporate leadership on capital investments, new product launches, and long-term strategic planning.Develop and manage annual operating budgets, cost control measures, and P&L accountability.Foster strong customer relationships through consistent delivery, responsiveness, and continuous improvement performance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of progressive leadership in automotive manufacturing, including experience with OEM/Tier 1 customers.Proven success as a General Manager, Plant Manager, or Senior Operations Leader in a high-volume, precision manufacturing environment.Deep understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma, SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis.Demonstrated success improving KPIs such as scrap rate, OEE, downtime, and throughput.Strong financial acumen, P&L management experience, and ERP system proficiency.Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills with a hands-on, data-driven approach.Why Join This TeamCompetitive base salary with executive-level benefits and car allowance.Matching 401(k), comprehensive healthcare, and paid time off.Significant opportunity to make an immediate and measurable impact on plant performance and company growth.Stability and long-term career potential with a well-established and growing automotive supplier.A collaborative, performance-driven culture that values innovation and operational excellence.
