CNC Grinder 2nd ShiftLocation: Solon, OHType: Full-Time | Direct Hire | High-Precision Job ShopA high-precision job shop in Solon is looking to add a CNC Grinder to its second shift team. This is a hands-on role in a clean, climate-controlled facility specializing in tight-tolerance, low-volume work for industries such as aerospace, medical, and defense.What Youll Do:Set up and operate CNC OD/ID grinders (Studer, Kellenberger, etc.)Work from blueprints and process sheets to achieve tight tolerancesInspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, comparators, and other precision instrumentsPerform in-process checks and final inspections to ensure part qualityMaintain clean work area and follow safety protocolsWhat Were Looking For:Experience with CNC OD/ID grinding and holding tolerances within .0002"Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TStrong attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanshipWillingness to work 2nd shift hours and contribute to a small, skilled teamManual grinding experience is a plusThis is a great opportunity for a grinder who thrives on precision and wants to work on complex, one-off or small batch projects rather than high-volume production.
