Position: Building Information Modeling (BIM) InternLocation: Columbus, OhioPay Range: $25.00 per hourSuperior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Fall 2026 term (September - December). In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.Under the guidance of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design Construction (VDC) team, you'll gain exposure to 3D models, BIM software programs, and so much more. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp prepare 3D models of electrical building systems in RevitPrepare 3D Navisworks models used for BIM coordinationHelp run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination processHelp support with installation and prefabrication drawingsHelp build Revit families, prefab assemblies, and contribute to BIM standardsLearn established standards for modeling and production of drawingsStrive to continuously develop your skills in our core applicationsYour Character TraitsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaborative and interpersonal skillsYou're organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailHave a thorough understanding of computer systems and applicationsEducation* Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldAbout The Superior Group (Superior)Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
