If you have a BS degree in Accounting or related field, 4+ years of GL accounting experience, an eye for detail and a team-focused attitude, you could be an ideal match for this position!ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain all General Ledger Accounting functions and ensure GAAP complianceRecord all GL adjustments on monthly basis inc. prepaid, insurance and depreciationMaintain fixed asset schedules and record all accrualsPrepare and submit monthly report regarding necessary bad debt reserveManage balancing of intercompany invoices and billingAssist with preparation of quarterly financial statementsMonitor cash flow and assist with treasury and banking activitiesPerform reconciliation of all GL accountsSupport external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholdersAssist with special projects as neededRequirementsBS or BA degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experienceFour (4) + years strong GL accounting experienceHighly proficient with all multi-state sales and use tax lawsExperience with job costing, project accounting, % of completion and fixed assetsKnowledge of all GAAP accounting standardsPossess high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail in fast paced environmentAble to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervisionStrong problem solving, organizational, communication and listening skillsAdvanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS office suite of programsProficiency with Timberline, Viewpoint Vista or similar industry ERPs
