$70-$74 per hour nArden Hills, MN nFull Time/Contract nDuration: 12+ months Contract nHybrid - Three days onsite - Arden Hills nKey Responsibilities nnnDesign, develop, and test electronic circuits, systems, and subsystems for medical device products. n nnCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, specifications, test protocols, reports, and design history file documentation. n nnSupport all phases of product development, from concept generation through verification, validation, and commercialization. n nnDevelop and execute hardware verification and validation activities to demonstrate compliance with product requirements. n nnPerform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for design and manufacturing issues. n nnCollaborate with Software, Mechanical, Systems, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product development and launch. n nnSupport design reviews, risk management activities, and design control processes. n nnEvaluate electronic components and technologies for suitability, reliability, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness. n nnSupport manufacturing transfers, process validations, and sustaining engineering activities. n nnContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, testing, and development processes. n n nRequired Qualifications nnnBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. n nn3+ years of engineering experience in product development, testing, manufacturing, or a regulated industry (entry-level positions may consider internship or co-op experience). n nnStrong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles. n nnExperience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies. n nnAbility to read and create electrical schematics and technical documentation. n nnStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. n nnAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. n n nPreferred Qualifications nnnExperience in the medical device industry. n nnKnowledge of Design Controls, Risk Management, Verification & Validation, and Quality System requirements. n nnExperience designing embedded hardware, low-power electronics, battery-powered systems, or implantable medical device technologies. n nnFamiliarity with EMC/EMI, electrical safety, and regulatory standards such as IEC 60601. n nnExperience with PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, or similar platforms. n nnKnowledge of signal integrity, power management, and wireless communication technologies. n nnExperience supporting manufacturing, process validation, and failure analysis activities. n n nAbout US Tech Solutions: nUS Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
