This role is ideal for an architectural professional who enjoys participating in all phases of design and project development, from conceptual planning through construction documentation.The Architectural Designer will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, consultants, and clients to help develop creative, technically sound, and visually compelling architectural solutions across a variety of project types.This position requires strong technical production skills, design sensibility, software proficiency, and the ability to contribute within a fast-paced, collaborative architectural environment.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Design & ProductionAssist in the design and development of architectural projects from conceptual design through construction documentation.Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, renderings, and detailing packages.Develop presentation materials, graphics, and visualizations for internal and client presentations.Participate in space planning, building layout development, and design coordination.Support the preparation of permit sets and construction documents.Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project development.Revise drawings and models based on project reviews, consultant coordination, and client feedback.Technical DocumentationProduce detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.Assist with code research, ADA compliance, zoning coordination, and permitting requirements.Maintain drafting standards, project organization, and document accuracy.Participate in quality control reviews to ensure project documentation is complete and coordinated.Project CoordinationWork collaboratively with internal teams to support project schedules and deadlines.Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and coordination reviews.Assist with consultant communication and project documentation updates.Help track revisions, submittals, and project milestones.Design CollaborationContribute creative ideas and solutions during the design process.Support the development of innovative architectural concepts that align with client goals and community impact.Participate in collaborative brainstorming and design development sessions.Stay informed on architectural trends, materials, technologies, and industry best practices.Required Qualifications2+ years of professional experience in architecture or architectural design.Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.Strong understanding of architectural drafting and construction documentation.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.Knowledge of building codes, ADA standards, and permitting processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.Experience working on commercial, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, civic, or community-focused projects.Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, or rendering software.Experience preparing permit and construction document packages.Understanding of Florida building codes and development standards.Experience working in collaborative architectural studio environments.What Makes This Opportunity UniqueFlexible Working HoursWhile this is a fully in-office role, AgeWave Solutions offers flexible scheduling to support productivity and work-life balance while maintaining a collaborative design environment.Growth & MentorshipAgeWave Solutions strongly values employee development through mentorship, ongoing training, collaborative project exposure, and long-term advancement opportunities.Collaborative Team CultureYou will work directly with a passionate and supportive team committed to creativity, innovation, and architectural excellence.Meaningful Design ImpactThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects that shape communities and positively impact the built environment throughout the region.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation$26–$34 per hour depending on experience, technical proficiency, and overall qualifications.Benefits Include100% Employer-Paid Health Insurance for employees AND dependentsEmployer contribution to Health Savings Account (HSA)100% Employer-Paid Life Insurance100% Employer-Paid Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffProfessional development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and growth-focused team environment
