Job Description
We are looking for a Senior/Lead FP&A Analyst for a 6–9 month contract based in Raleigh, NC. As our business scales, we are seeking a seasoned, hands‑on partner to provide immediate capacity and tactical support to our Finance & Strategy team. As our SaaS business scales, we are seeking a seasoned, hands‑on partner to provide immediate capacity and tactical support to our Finance & Strategy team. The primary focus is to serve as a key contributor in stabilizing and evolving our expense and headcount workstreams. You will focus on refining our current reporting cycles and elevating our executive‑level presentation materials. While the core team manages our long‑term systems roadmap, you will bridge the gap by advancing our NetSuite, Coupa, and UKG data flows into clear, sophisticated spreadsheet‑based models and ELT‑ready narratives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Provide immediate support to evolve and standardize roster/census management and expense validation across NetSuite, Coupa, and UKG.
Business Partnership: Serve as a finance business partner to ELT members and their respective departments, providing the visibility and analysis required to actively manage, refine, and evolve their forecasts to drive operational success.
Variance Analysis: Build upon and enhance existing variance analysis templates and rolling forecast models.
Operational Evolution: Partner cross-functionally to identify and execute tactical refinements that evolve existing workflows, reducing manual effort while increasing the speed, accuracy, and clarity of our monthly close and reporting cycles.
Executive & External Reporting: Evolve and elevate the delivery of high‑impact reporting packages for internal leadership and external investment partners, ensuring that monthly business reviews and quarterly governance cycles are supported by clear narratives of financial performance.
Candidate Profile
Experienced Practitioner: 7+ years in FP&A with a proven ability to manage complex headcount and expense structures in high-growth SaaS environments.
Systems & Tools: Expert-level spreadsheet skills; experience navigating NetSuite, Coupa, UKG, and Pigment (or similar planning tools) is highly valued.
Communication Specialist: Adept at taking existing data and evolving it into clean, executive‑level summaries that drive fast decision‑making.
Collaborative Mindset: You thrive in a 'support-first' environment, willing to dive into the details of data validation to help the broader team succeed.
Methodical Approach: A passion for building transparent, auditable templates that move logic out of individual 'brains' and into structured, shared files.
