Krones Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARYThe Logistics Operations Supervisor – Second Shift is responsible for leading daily warehouse and logistics operations during the assigned shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and Team performance. This role supports the Logistics Operations Manager by ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all activities, while driving service improvements and cost control initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESLead by exampleSupervise and coordinate second shift warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, staging, and material handlingEnsure on-time and accurate order fulfillment to support customer service expectationsExecute daily workload planning aligned with volume forecasts and business prioritiesMonitor workflow to optimize productivity, throughput and labor utilizationPartner with the first shift supervisor to ensure effective shift handoffs and continuityLead, coach, and develop hourly Team members to meet performance, safety, and quality expectationsConduct daily start-up meetings to communicate priorities, safety topics and performance goalsProvide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance managementSupport hiring, onboarding, and training of new Team membersPromote a positive, engaged, and accountable Team cultureEnforce all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsLead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with trade regulations, documentation standards, and company policiesMaintain proper housekeeping and organization following 5S or similar standardsEnsure inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing and physical verificationSupport cycle counting and inventory reconciliation activitiesInvestigate discrepancies and implement preventive measuresMaintain high standards of quality in packaging, labeling, and shipment preparationIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costsMonitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to improve performanceSupport lean initiatives and standard work developmentOptimize labor utilization and reduce overtime where possibleProvide shift performance updates to the Logistics Operations ManagerTrack and report KPIs such as productivity, service level, safety incidents, and inventory accuracyCollaborate with cross-functional Teams (Customer Service, Planning, Compliance, Transportation)An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
