Meade that is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to their team. This position will support operations within a chemical treatment facility, focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used in water treatment processes and gypsum stack seepage control systems.The ideal candidate will bring mechanical background, hands-on experience with industrial pumps, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and safety. Training will be provided!What Makes the Job GreatFull-time, consistent schedule with reliable hours week to weekTraining provided, including equipment certifications and ongoing skill developmentWhat You'll Be DoingPerform preventative maintenance on pumps, agitators, and other mechanical equipment throughout the treatment plantDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to maintain continuous operationsService remote pumps, including fueling, greasing, and oilingMonitor equipment for safety concerns and operational issuesFollow lockout/tagout procedures prior to performing maintenance or repairsReplace or repair malfunctioning equipment as neededCollaborate with treatment plant operators to prioritize and complete repairs efficientlyEnsure all systems remain operational to support overall facility performanceUtilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, grinders, forklifts, and high-reach equipmentWho We're Looking ForValid Florida driver's license requiredMinimum of 2+ years of industrial and/or mechanical experienceExperience working on large industrial pumps is requiredWelding experience is a plusExperience using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with a strong work ethic What You Can Expect$20.00/hrMonday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pmPaid major holidaysCompany DescriptionStaffBuildersHR is a recruiting and staffing company committed to providing an exceptional staffing experience for our clients by offering superior customer service and highly trained individuals.
