This role will lead high-value building upgrades, manage vendors and contractors, and collaborate with senior leadership and investment partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on project execution and has experience managing multi-million-dollar residential capital projects.🏢 About the Portfolio425 unique properties / 2,300 residential units across #pleasenoNYCPrimarily townhomes in Brooklyn and QueensMost buildings are 100+ years old but extensively rehabilitatedAverage property contains 4–5 units🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesManage large capital expenditure projects across a multifamily real estate portfolioLead end-to-end execution of major building upgrades such as HVAC, roofing, and structural improvementsOversee construction projects from planning through completionCoordinate with vendors, contractors, capital partners, and internal teamsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with regulationsTrack contracts, budgets, and cost variances between estimated and actual expensesProvide clear reporting and project updates to executive leadership and investor partnersBalance strategic planning (budgeting and forecasting) with tactical execution and vendor managementUtilize platforms such as Yardi, Monday.com, and other property management systems for project tracking and reporting✅ What We’re Looking For5+ years of progressive experience in capital improvements, construction project management, or capital planningExperience managing high-value, multi-million-dollar projectsResidential real estate experience requiredNYC experience strongly preferred, particularly BrooklynStrong ability to manage vendors, contractors, and project timelinesComfortable presenting updates to senior leadership and investor groupsHighly organized, strategic, and tech-savvyExperience with Yardi or other property management systems strongly preferredBackgrounds may include: Capital Projects Manager, Construction Project Manager, Capital Planning Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Facilities Leader**********LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY ************Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
