Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Converse Consultants is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (GE) that can manage technical and managerial functions in the Monrovia Office. Candidate must be technically proficient and familiar with Southern California, have staff management skills, client management skills, and business networking skills. The position is open to motivated individuals with various levels of experience for the skills described but must be a California Professional Engineer seeking to become a licensed Geotechnical Engineer or already a GE.Typical DutiesManage staff workloads and schedulesHire, train and supervise personnelManage client expectations and communicationPlans, develops, coordinates and directs small & large projects with complex features.Perform technical engineeringTrack projects budgets and schedules and reviews reports.Ascertain that deliverables are submitted to the client on schedule and within budget.Maintain existing clients and develop new business.Attend business networking functions to grow businessParticipate in the growth and business development of ConverseEducation/Registration Status/Professional AttainmentsBachelor's Degree at a minimum, Master's Degree preferredRegistered Civil and Geotechnical EngineerSkills:Civil EngineeringGeotechnical EngineeringBudget ManagementClient RelationsStaff ManagementBusiness DevelopmentProposal and Report Writing and ReviewQA/QCMentorship
