Tooling Engineer

We're recruiting for a Tooling Engineer who wants to take ownership of tooling, fixture, workholding, and clamping system design within a precision machining environment.This is a highly visible engineering role responsible for developing tooling solutions that improve quality, productivity, and manufacturing performance. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with manufacturing, quality, and production teams while leading tooling projects from concept through implementation.We are especially interested in candidates with backgrounds in:• Tooling Design• Fixture Design• Workholding Systems• CNC Machining• Manufacturing Engineering• Process Development• Tool & Die• Precision MachiningWhat You'll Be Doing• Design tooling, fixtures, workholding, and clamping solutions for machining operations• Lead tooling projects from concept through implementation• Support process development and manufacturing improvement initiatives• Create tooling drawings, bills of material, and engineering documentation• Troubleshoot tooling and manufacturing issues on the shop floor• Support new equipment implementation, process validation, and production launch activitiesIdeal Candidates Will Bring• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field• 5+ years of tooling, fixture design, workholding, or manufacturing engineering experience• Experience designing tooling, fixtures, workholding, and manual or hydraulic clamping systems• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, workholding principles, and tooling applications• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T• CAD experience required; NX experience preferred• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills within a manufacturing environmentWhy Consider This Opportunity?• Opportunity to own tooling projects from concept through implementation• Highly visible engineering role with significant ownership and impact• Exposure to NX and advanced manufacturing technologies• Strong compensation and comprehensive benefits package• Long-term career growth opportunity within a growing manufacturing environment
