Contract Senior Accountant

Contract Senior Accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements and management reports on a full-time, remote, 3-month contract basis. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations Maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and assist with regulatory filings Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial transaction recording and support audit requests Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience Professional certification (CFM, CMA, or CPA) or advanced degree At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services or fintech Strong knowledge of GAAP and FDIC/OCC standards Highly proficient with MS Excel and Word
