Role Description This is a full-time on-site position located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for an Arborist Groundperson. The Arborist Groundperson will assist with tree care operations, including clearing debris, operating equipment, supporting climbers, and safely performing groundwork-related tasks. Responsibilities include moving and positioning tools, feeding brush and branches into chippers, and maintaining a safe worksite. The Arborist Groundperson must adhere to safety protocols and work effectively as part of a team in outdoor environments. Qualifications Basic knowledge of tree care and maintenance, or a strong willingness to learn and grow within the industry.Experience in operating and maintaining relevant tools and equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and other machinery, is a plus.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other crew members.Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is valuable.Previous experience in tree care or landscaping roles is a plus but not a requirement.
