The Clarion Construction Internship Program offers students real-world experience in commercial construction, project management, and estimating. This paid construction internship provides hands-on learning both in the office and on active job sites throughout Chicagoland. ABOUT CLARION CONSTRUCTION Founded in 1989, Clarion Construction is a Chicagoland-based general contractor specializing in commercial interior renovations for office, industrial, and corporate facilities. Headquartered in Lombard, Illinois, we serve clients throughout the Chicago metro area and are known for our integrity, long-term client relationships, and collaborative culture. INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES As a construction intern, you will: Gain hands-on experience in commercial construction project management Assist with estimating, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination Visit active construction job sites in Chicagoland Learn industry-standard construction software, including Procore and Sage Develop professional communication skills through meetings with project teams and superintendents Receive mentorship from experienced construction professionals and company leadership BECOME YOUR BEST Exposure to real commercial construction projects across Chicagoland Mentorship and coaching from construction executives and project managers Flexible scheduling to support academic commitments Strong potential for repeat internships and full-time construction jobs after graduation Collaborative, family-owned company culture focused on growth and integrity IDEAL CANDIDATES This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in: Construction Management Engineering Architecture Business or Project Management HOW TO APPLY Submit your resume to Kathy Kimes at kathy@clarionconstruction.com.
