Always Better.Position SummaryThe Wholesale Team builds and drives the Odell Brewing and The OBC Wine Project portfolios and brand culture throughout our home market of Larimer County in Colorado where we self-distribute. The General Manager will provide dynamic leadership to the team and will be focused on executing the strategic sales vision through effective leadership and operational efficiency. This role will be responsible to achieve volume, revenue, and sales results through exceptional people and systems management of the distribution operations.Essential FunctionsManage and lead all aspects of the sales and delivery function for the wholesale division, while maintaining excellent working relationships with customers and cross functional internal teamsExecute long term Strategic Vision within all assigned channels in the marketplaceMaintain the wholesale operational budget and effectively manage team expensesDevelop efficient route management practices to ensure on-time delivery and executionEffectively lead, support, and hold accountable direct reports by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities, expectations, and deliverables Maintain proper organizational structure and staffing levels, providing coverage when neededEnsure ethical business practices and compliance with all local, state and federal regulationsHire, train, coach, and motivate direct reports to deliver maximum impact in the market, including Pre-sales Team, Delivery Reps, Merchandisers, and InfluencersRegularly work with direct reports in the market and provide constructive and actionable feedback for development and growthConduct regular audits of accounts to ensure effective sales and distribution standards Create and cultivate an inclusive environment for co-workers, customers, and community Experience/Skills RequiredAt least 5 years sales/business experience within the beverage industry3 or more years with distribution experience5 or more years experience leading a team of sales professionals within the beverage industryBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education plus experience Experience with relevant sales analytics to provide insight for pricing and discount levels to achieve margin goalsProficiency and experience using a CRM system Strong understanding of retailer relationships, 3- tier system, & marketingExcellent interpersonal & leadership skills including written & verbal presentationsDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite; CRM (Karma); and iDig/VIP Ability to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed to support sales activitiesMust reside in Larimer County or willing to relocate within 30 daysValid state driver’s license in good standing is requiredPost Offer/Pre-employment Requirements Clean Driving Record/Current MVR Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the co-worker to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
