Accounting Manager

Well-established and growing international manufacturing/distribution organization is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This individual will oversee daily accounting operations, support financial reporting activities, supervise accounting staff, and partner cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and leadership teams.This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and wants visibility within a stable, growth-oriented organization.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activitiesSupport month-end and year-end close processesReview journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedulesSupervise and mentor accounting support staffAssist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reportingManage collections activities, aging receivables, and customer account discrepanciesSupport sales and use tax compliance activitiesPartner with internal departments to improve accounting processes and operational efficienciesAssist with audit preparation and external reporting requestsAnalyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior supervisory or management experience requiredStrong understanding of GAAP and operational accounting practicesExperience within manufacturing, distribution, medical device, consumer products, or related operational environments preferredAdvanced Excel skills requiredExperience with ERP systems and accounting software strongly preferredExperience with sales tax platforms, expense management systems, and reporting tools is a plusDesired Background:Hands-on accounting leadership experienceStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlinesExperience improving processes and supporting operational accounting functionsDetail-oriented with strong analytical skillsAdditional Information:Stable and growing organizationCollaborative team environmentOpportunity for visibility and long-term growthCompetitive compensation and benefits package$100,000 - $150,000K base
