Clinical Informatics Specialist

A large, prominent community hospital in Queens, NY is seeking a skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to add to their team.Responsibilities:Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT teams to assess and improve clinical workflowsSupport implementation, optimization, and maintenance of EHR systems and related technologiesAnalyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunitiesTranslate business and clinical requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in system upgrades, testing (UAT), and go-live supportDevelop training materials and provide end-user support for clinical systemsEnsure data integrity, standardization, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Nursing, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of experience in clinical informatics or related fieldsHands-on experience with EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner)Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
