Tanque Verde Swap Meet is Southern Arizona's largest outdoor market, welcoming thousands of visitors each week. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our Grounds Maintenance team and looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Grounds Maintenance Keeper plays a vital role in keeping our market clean, safe, and organized. This position focuses on waste management operations before, during, and after market days, ensuring a positive experience for vendors and guests. Key Responsibilities Work with team members to clear trash and debris across the property Place and distribute dumpsters and trash cans in designated areas Deliver dumpsters to vendors and ensure proper placement Empty, clean, and maintain dumpsters and trash containers Perform minor repairs on dumpster wheels, lids, and components Maintain cleanliness of compact and waste areas Follow all safety procedures, especially when handling heavy equipment Complete daily task reports and documentation Use tools and equipment safely and effectively Assist with lot maintenance, including painting lines and space numbers Support special events and additional operational needs Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal (if applicable) What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures Comfortable with physical labor and lifting Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Previous grounds maintenance, janitorial, or labor experience Basic mechanical or repair skills (a plus) Successful candidates demonstrate: Problem-solving and adaptability Dependability and punctuality Teamwork and communication skills Commitment to safety and quality work Positive attitude and strong work ethic Why Join Us?
