Job Description Job Summary: Conducts diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and maintains high-quality imaging standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory guidelines. Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality. Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Document procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in medical records. Adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff. Qualifications: Hold a valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification and state licensure. Possess at least 1 year of experience in radiology or nuclear medicine. Demonstrate proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment. Exhibit strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Maintain current knowledge of radiation safety and healthcare regulations.
