Job Title: Structural Engineer - Tyndall AFBWork Location: Panama City, FLSalary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interviewREQUIREMENT- Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screenDuties/Responsibilities:Provides professional structural engineering and construction management support by performing tasks such as: serves as a general engineer providing professional and technical leadership; guidance, and expertise in managing contractor executed construction projectsServes as the organizational subject matter expert regarding national standards and practices for structural engineering designs, foundation analysis for horizontal and vertical construction, including but not limited to facility material selection and approval for buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and structuresParticipates in design reviews and provides comments on contractor submitted structural engineering designs and plansProvides quality assurance oversight, documentation of such oversight, and recommends corrective actions as required to ensure high quality performance on contractorProvides safety oversight, documentation of such oversight, and directs corrective actions as required to ensure worker and public safetyAssists in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor structural engineering requirements and deliverables; documents and provides reports regarding contractor progressRecommends authorization of progress payments based on observed contract progressEducation/Experience:Current Professional Engineer license within the State of FloridaMinimum of 10 years' experience as structural engineer on large complex multimillion dollar federal construction projects, preferably Department of DefenseBachelor's degree in engineeringDemonstrated experience working with coastal projects and high wind loads,Experience with Resident Management System (RMS), and Microsoft Office experienceExperience with federal facilities including administrative buildings, airfield facilities and multi-use facilities.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.A supportive and collaborative work environment.
