Director, Product Design

As Director of Product Design, you’ll lead a talented team in shaping the future of our industry-leading work execution platform. You’ll guide the user experience (UX) strategy, build a thriving design team, and collaborate across the company to create innovative solutions.You are a leader and a coach who inspires excellence. You have 12+ years of experience managing UX teams and a passion for human-centered design. You’re an expert in design thinking, prototyping, and user research, with a strong track record of success.Here’s what you’ll do:-Set the vision and strategy for Smartsheet’s user experience-Lead and mentor a team of UX designers-Develop clear goals and metrics for design decisions-Build and improve UX processes, standards, and tools-Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver exceptional featuresWe’re looking for someone with:-12+ years of experience in a cross-functional design leadership role-6+ years leading and mentoring UX teams (managing managers a plus)-Experience designing for enterprise SaaS platforms-Strong visual design skills and expertise in design tools (Figma, etc.)-Excellent communication and collaboration skills-A passion for user experience and a drive to make a differenceSmartsheet offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:-Base salary range: $205,000 – $297,000 (depending on location)-Equity grants and stock purchase program-Health insurance, 401k match, and paid time off-Flexible work arrangements (remote options available)-Opportunities for professional development and growthReady to build the future of work?
