Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Core ResponsibilitiesAct as a senior subject matter expert in the areas of monitoring and analyzing enterprise networks and network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers encryptors, etc.Provide expert technical guidance and support to the Government, Project Lead, and other Network Analyst in support of monitoring and managing the customer networksReview the work of the other contractor personnel based on government standards and industry best practice and provide feedback and recommendations through the Project LeadMaintain awareness of trends and best practices related to networks, technology and IT-related topics and provide recommendations to the Project Lead and Government on possible improvements or changes to customer systems and processesProvide high-quality and professional customer service in all interactionsUse the Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform to analyze and provide data and documentation related to the network performance of any or all network components.Serve as an on-call escalation point for other network engineers when they are unable to resolve a ticketProvide excellent and professional customer service in all interactions Requirements:Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCIMinimum of five (5) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutionsExpert knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Stateful firewalls and encryption technologiesWorking knowledge of network management tools, such as Riverbed, Wireshark, Micro Focus Network Automation, etc.Working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers and storage systems. Must have good knowledge of general security tools and methodologies such as firewalls, Intrusion Detection Sensor (IDS)/Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and access control lists.Experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolutionExperience providing senior-level engineering supportLarge enterprise environment experienceExcellent communication skills Preferred Additional Skills and QualificationsCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Higher Cisco CertificationBachelor's degree in technology related fieldExperience in network engineering within the federal intelligence communityAbility to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology, and ensure task/mission completion, along with creating and maintaining necessary informationPython Scripting experienceHighly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detailgroup id: 91165794
