Financial Assistance Specialist

Position Details: Location: Remote (after two weeks of onsite training) Status: Full time Shift: 8:00am - 6:30pm (4 10-hour shifts) Days: Monday through Friday / Every other Saturday This Financial Assistance Specialist opportunity is a full-time remote position. This position requires two weeks of onsite training and quarterly in person meetings at either our South Florida Baptist hospital or a BayCare hospital in Pinellas County. Responsibilities: The Financial Assistance Specialist is responsible for identifying ER patients thru bedside assessment and interview who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from community agencies. May act as a liaison between the patient and community agencies. The Financial Assistance Specialist must be able to clearly documents all activities.
