Investing in technology and prototypes ahead of need, LMI brings commercial-grade platforms and mission-ready AI to federal agencies at commercial speed.ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility for the individual in this position is to support USTRANSCOM's Strategic Plans, Policy, Logistics and Warfighting Development Directorate (TCJ4/J5/J7) in the development, execution, and maintenance of the USTRANSCOM Combatant Command Campaign Plan (CCP) and the Department of War (DoW) Functional Campaign Plan for Global Deployment and Distribution (FCP-GDD). In direct support of these efforts, the individual shall perform the following: Assist in leading, facilitating, or participating in joint planning groups (JPGs) and other working groups with USTRANSCOM and Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) partners (Defense Agencies, Services, Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, and the Office of the Secretary of War), including senior officers or action officers, to develop, coordinate, implement, and revise campaign plans.Work across USTRANSCOM Directorates and JDDE partners in development, maintenance, and execution of campaign plans. Assist in developing and maintaining other strategic plans as required and in accordance with higher level guidance to include the Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP) and Joint Publication (JP) 5-0. Review supporting and complimentary plans (e.g., other CCMD Campaign Plans (CCP), Functional Campaign Plans (FCP), directives, and doctrine to ensure USTRANSCOM alignment with DoW strategic and planning guidance. Contribute multimodal, distribution, transportation, and logistics planning knowledge for USTRANSCOM at meetings, seminars, and conferences to discuss campaign planning objectives, effects, and tasks related to global deployment and distribution as required. Develop information briefings, informational point papers, executive summaries, and presentations as required. Assist the government with related Task Management Tool (TMT) assignments. Assist in managing NIPR and SIPR collaboration web sites (Microsoft & Teams) Perform Knowledge/Storage Management functions in support of Campaign Planning. Provide trip reports/after-action reports for planning visits, seminars, conferences, in-process reviews, and meetings as required.QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of work experience or a master's degree with 4 years of work experience Work experience includes but not limited to planning, strategy development, logistics, distribution, mobility operations, and supply chain management Strong oral and written communication capabilities Ability to work well with a team and foster a cooperative environment Ability to independently manage assigned tasks to completion Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) Security Clearance Note: Selected applicants are subject to a government security investigation and LMI will only consider applicants with a minimum of an active SECRET clearance. Thereafter, must be able to attain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. Available for occasional domestic and/or international travel Full-Time/Regular employment Desired Skills: Strategic or operational planning experience Working knowledge of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) Combatant command or service headquarters experience Target salary range: $75,000 - $95,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
