Full-time eligible teachers can access the district's Group Health Plan and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) if enrolled in a high-deductible health plan. Sick leave accrues at 12 days annually, with up to 48 hours designated as Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST). Unused sick leave is unlimited, while ESST accrues up to 20 days. Additionally, teachers have access to bereavement, jury, military, and unpaid childcare leave along with a matched 403(b) plan and professional development opportunities. An adaptive PE teacher provides individualized physical education instruction and support to students with disabilities, adapting activities and curriculum to meet each student's unique needs and abilities. A PE teacher provides instruction in physical education that promotes physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy activity habits.Job Description: The Heath teacher plans and delivers instruction on physical, mental, and social health topics aligned to curriculum standards, helping students develop knowledge and skills for lifelong wellness and healthy decision-making. The Adaptive PE teacher assesses students with disabilities and designs individualized physical education programs that promote motor development, fitness, and participation in safe, accessible physical activity.
