Nursing Assistant - Summer Camp - Summer Job Tamarack Day Camp – Randolph, NJ Summer 2026 | June 29 – August 21 | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Make your summer meaningful. Tamarack Day Camp is seeking responsible, compassionate nursing students to join our Health Center team for Summer 2026. This is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a supportive, high-energy pediatric setting while working alongside experienced camp nurses and healthcare professionals. If you’re pursuing a degree in Nursing and want real-world experience that strengthens your clinical confidence, communication skills, and decision-making — this is it. What You’ll Do: Assist the Camp Nurse in operating the camp Health Center Provide basic first aid and care to campers and staff Monitor and document daily medications Support care for minor injuries, allergies, and routine health needs Maintain accurate medical logs and incident reports Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and parents Help ensure a safe, healthy environment for 300+ campers daily What We’re Looking For: Current Nursing student (RN, BSN, or ADN program preferred) CPR & First Aid certified (required) Strong communication and documentation skills Calm, confident demeanor in fast-paced situations Interest in pediatrics, community health, school nursing, or emergency care Must be available for all 39 days of camp (June 29 – August 21) Camp operates Monday–Friday.
