Job SummaryThe staff nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient care consistent with acceptable standards of the profession and Community Medicine with a minimum amount of Faxton - St. Luke's Healthcare supervision. Provides direct and indirect care in an office setting. Promotes high quality of care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility. Determines priorities of care based on patient's physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with the Community Medicine providers about any changes in a patient's statusCore Job ResponsibilitiesAble to perform assessment data collection on all patients utilizing tool / forms in EMRDemonstrates ability to adequately assess and reassess pain.
