Strategic Sourcing Manager
Job Summary
Raycap, Inc. is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team! Based out of the Post Falls, ID. facility, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will effectively manage long-term suppliers and support our overall cost strategy.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Manage supplier identification, qualification, and onboarding processes
Engage in contract negotiation and outline the framework for agreements; documents records, as necessary
Identify, analyze, and implement opportunities to achieve cost reductions
Partner with Engineering and Operations to evaluate alternative materials, suppliers, and processes
Identify opportunities to maximize the use of product without sacrificing quality
Monitor and evaluate supplier risk management against key performance indicators
Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, and ESG requirements
Coordinate supplier visits and conduct routine supplier audits against agreed upon terms and conditions
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years applicable supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support supplier engagement
