BartenderLake Raystown Resort - Entriken, PA 16638OverviewSalary Range $10.00 Hourly Job Shift Any Education Level Not SpecifiedDescriptionSet up service bar areas per Banquet Event OrderPrepare and portion beverage garnishesEngage event/banquet guests and create positive experiencesMaintain a friendly attitudeTend to all guests in an efficient and prompt mannerPrepare and serve beverages that are both alcoholic and non-alcoholicFollow drink recipes and procedures for crafting specialty beveragesMaintain bar area by stocking beer, wine and liquor as provided by event contactsEnsure that all products, drinks, cups/glassware are readily available for using during entire eventBe diligent in preventing unsafe situations and ensure that no alcohol is consumed by minorsCheck guest IDs and respond appropriately when guests violate rules and regulationsMonitor, maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned service areaClean up venue at end of event and assist with other closeout tasks/sidework as assigned by Events Manager or Conference & Events DirectorFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.QualificationsPrevious bartending experience requiredKnowledge of catering practices preferredAbility to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environmentReliable transportation requiredAbility to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shiftAbility to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.TIPS Alcohol Safety Training Certification and/or RAMP Certification required
