Mission provides a comprehensive portfolio of product and service offerings that help mission and other pharmaceutical companies more effectively deliver needed prescription and consumer products into the hands of physicians, pharmacists and ultimately, patients.Mission Pharmacal, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking an energetic Receiving Technician to join our team in Boerne, TX. Receives and distributes materials, maintains accurate inventory control, meets all safety, quality/compliance and productivity objectives, and maintains a clean operating area. Unloads and loads trucks, inspects incoming material for damage. Verifies products, lot numbers, and quantities. Transfers materials from wood pallets to plastic pallets. May sample materials for lab testing and retention. Identifies material through bar code labeling. Fills requisitions from all departments, as required. Operates various materials handling equipment such as manual/motorized pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and automated wire turret trucks to accomplish objectives. Performs daily cycle counts. Performs end of fiscal year inventory. Maintains maintenance logs on lifts and motorized pallets. Drives Mission trucks on property and off site. Perform general cleaning. Complies with all applicable SOP's.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to identify and eliminate delays to ensure continuous product flow. Ability to work well with others and follow instructions. Ability to anticipate any issues that may affect other departments and communicate to supervisor. Ability to perform and document preventive maintenance. Ability to operate a forklift. Occasionally move up to 1600 pounds using a manual pallet jack. Floor may be slippery. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
