Registered Nurse (RN) | InfusionLocation: Lewistown, MTAgency: Conflux Systems IncPay: $67 to $69 per hourShift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hoursContract Duration: 14 WeeksStart Date: ASAPAbout the PositionJob Summary:The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality infusion therapy to patients in an outpatient or clinical setting. This role includes administering IV medications, biologics, chemotherapy, blood products, and hydration therapy while closely monitoring patient responses. The Infusion RN will provide education to patients and families and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities:Administer intravenous (IV) therapies including medications, biologics, chemotherapy, blood products, and hydration per physician orders and established protocols.Perform comprehensive patient assessments prior to infusion, including review of medical history, allergies, lab results, and vital signs.Monitor patients during and after infusions for adverse reactions, side effects, or complications and intervene appropriately.Initiate, maintain, and discontinue peripheral IVs, PICC lines, implanted ports, and other vascular access devices.Educate patients and families regarding infusion therapies, treatment expectations, potential side effects, and post-infusion care.Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, patient responses, and education in the electronic health record (EHR).Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to coordinate care plans.Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and oncology/infusion best practices.Respond effectively to emergencies and infusion-related complications.Maintain a compassionate, professional, and supportive environment for patients receiving treatment.RequirementsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana.Current OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required.Current ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card required.Current BLS certification required.ACLS certification preferred.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Minimum 1–2 years of infusion, oncology, or acute care nursing experience preferred.Preferred Experience:Previous experience in outpatient infusion, oncology, hematology, or specialty clinic settings.Experience administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products.Familiarity with central line care and vascular access management.Experience using EHR/EMR systems.Skills & Competencies:Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking abilities.Knowledge of infusion safety protocols and adverse reaction management.Effective communication and patient education skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented approach to care.Work Environment:Outpatient infusion center, oncology clinic, or hospital-based infusion setting.Frequent standing, walking, and patient interaction.Exposure to chemotherapy agents and clinical procedures following safety guidelines.0119
