Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant: Located in: Frankfort, IN Salary: $65,000-$80,000 We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization to identify a talented Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to expand their experience across core accounting functions. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the month-end close process, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring financial accuracy. The ideal Staff Accountant brings strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of general ledger activity, and hands-on experience with bank reconciliations. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare supporting schedules and financial reports Analyze variances and provide insights to leadership Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards Collaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1–4+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role Strong experience with bank reconciliations and GL accounting Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Why This Opportunity?
